Virtual Nutcracker Project

During this pandemic, we have embarked on a very audacious project. After recording the Nutcracker Overture with our wonderful dancer/choreographer/flutist, Katie O’Gara, we decided to record and produce ten more iconic movements from Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Ballet for this Holiday Season. We joined forces with the Pacific Academy Foundation Orchestra and Ballet for All Kids, an organization that brings classical ballet to all children regardless of their abilities or disabilities. The project is being produced by a team of Hollywood editors and producers.

In the second phase of the project, we will be collaborating with professional dancers and ballet companies. Many renowned musicians from different countries have decided to participate, including Grammy Award winning artists, soloists and principals from distinguished orchestras. This next phase also includes a World Music component, uniting traditional and folkloric music from around the world with Tchaikovsky's original score, to create a mosaic representative of many different cultures.

We invite musicians from every continent to be a part of our virtual orchestra!

In accordance with our mission there is no fee to participate. For information on how to participate, please click HERE.

During this time of global unrest, our prime objective is connecting musicians to each other and the community. We truly believe in the power of music to support and heal, and that its continuity will help not only musicians but the whole community thrive. All of our projects are used as outreach to communities that do not have access to the performing arts during this pandemic, including children's hospitals, assisted living facilities, community organizations, and foundations that support the blind and disabled all around the world, and to arts organizations in corners of the world who may not have access to high-level performing arts resources.
