We welcome students of all ages and experience levels, offering five orchestra levels (Da Capo, Allegro, Vivace, Symphony, and Chamber Orchestras) to ensure each student thrives in a fulfilling, challenging environment. Participants have the unique opportunity to learn from and collaborate with the other PAFO ensembles, top conservatory students, and world-class professionals. Students can always expect an all-encompassing variety of activities during regular rehearsals, including full orchestra rehearsals, family concerts, and sectionals, providing students the opportunity to receive personalized training from specialized coaches. Students participate in Gala Concerts, Outreach Concerts, Special Events (like the annual Lunar New Year Concert), and the Festival of Soloists.

The PAFO Festival of Soloists is a series of performances offering musicians the special opportunity to perform as soloists with the orchestra. Festival concerts take place regularly, and soloists are auditioned year-round. Open to all levels, from young students to professionals, musicians experience the transformative power of playing as soloist with an exceptional ensemble. The PAFO Chamber Orchestra is an elite ensemble featuring advanced students who play alongside high level conservatory musicians and renowned professionals. Entrance is based on ability, not age. The Chamber Orchestra convenes a few times a year for a series of intensive rehearsals, culminating in memorable performances of beloved masterpieces of the standard literature. Chamber Orchestra musicians receive a direct invitation to perform in the Festival of Soloists.
